Solar Pro Window Tinting originally opened its first location in 1999
with just one small shop. Since then, our success with the company has centered around our principle business plan and has stayed the same until today: to give people the best installation with the best films available in just about every budget. This simple philosophy is important to each and every employee throughout each of our Solar Pro locations.
With the success of Solar Pro Window Tinting’s first location, it didn’t take long for owner and creator Jeff Bedell to realize that this is not just something that people in and around Kansas City need, but it is something everyone needs. With that, the expansion grew and within just a couple of years, Solar Pro was taking care of customers as far south as Lee’s Summit and as far east as Columbia and the Whiteman Air Force Base area. With this expansion, Jeff brought in a stellar management team to oversee each of his new locations: Jeff Schrock in Lee’s Summit, Darin McCarthy in Blue Springs, and CJ Barnhart in Warrensburg. This team ensures that more attention is focused on getting the Solar Pro Window Tinting experience to more people across Missouri and Kansas. The Warrensburg location does more to care for clients as the only location that also takes care of aftermarket auto needs such as 12 volt auto electronics from car stereos, navigation, remote starters, blue tooth and more.

By the year 2008, Solar Pro Window Tinting really had a huge impact on the entire state of Missouri and Kansas. With a reputation that was paired with professionalism and quality, Solar Pro continued to stretch out, completing jobs from large commercial buildings and government projects to the average family household to fight rising utility costs. After the various expansions, the Solar Pro crew can now travel all across the United States fighting solar damage and adding security films with the original philosophy intact. With continued anticipated growth, we hope to see even more new locations from Kansas City all the way to Punta Gorda, Florida in the next decade.
